Replace Your Car's Air Filter

Replace Your Car's Air Filter

"Replace the air filter regularly. A dirty air filter enriches the air/fuel mixture and can increase fuel consumption as much as 10%. Tests show one third of all vehicles have air filters in need of replacement." - iCARumba

How do you know when it's time for a change? Check your owner's manual. Mine says to do this at 30,000mi. I've also read that if you drive in a very dusty environment, you should change your air filter up to twice as often as recommended. locakitty said you can also vacuum it out to get some extra use from it.
